The Board noted the draft legislation relating to the abolition of HBLB, which had been published recently.

2019 Expenditure Budget
The Board noted that BHA would work with the Racing Authority to co-ordinate the applications from Racing for non-fixture related expenditure

Capital Credit Applications: Chester and Thirsk
The Board approved

1. A Capital Credit Grant to Chester racecourse of £1,071,781 towards demolishing the Watergate Pub and creating a new entrance area to Chester racecourse
2. An increase of £29,606 in the Capital Credit Grant to Thirsk racecourse towards the building of a new trackside Owners’ and Trainers’ facility.
