The Board noted the management accounts for the period to 31 August 2015.
Bookmakers' Committee: 1st Quarter Trading Update
The Board noted the Bookmakers’ Committee estimate of the Levy due, for the LBO estate, of the first quarter of the 54th Levy Scheme.
2015 Fixture Criteria and Expenditure Reductions
The Board agreed:
a) The indicative 2016 budget.
b) The 2016 Fixture Criteria.
c) The discontinuation of the Channel 4 Late Race Payment Fund in 2016.
Additional Voluntary Contribution Evaluation
The Board noted the update on the AVC analysis for the extended provision of prize money.
Mare Owners' Prize Scheme (MOPS) 2016
The Board noted the current position with regard to MOPS and would await further proposals from Racing as to how this may be funded.
MBA in Thoroughbred Racing Industries and Bursaries
The Board agreed in principle the provision of up to three bursaries for 2016/17 at a total cost of £45,000.
Capital Credit Applications - Taunton
The Board approved a Capital Credit Grant to Taunton racecourse of £54,680 to cover the total cost of installing solar panels onto the racecourse’s grandstands.
