Prize Money for Resumption and Other Requests
The Board agreed funding of up to £15.7m in prize money for the ten-week period following the resumption of racing. The Board also reaffirmed funding of £1.8m for the prize money schemes Plus 10 and National Hunt Mare Owners Prizes Scheme for the remainder of 2020.
The Board also agreed the cancellation of the veterinary research grants application process in 2020 for projects that would start in 2021.
A further update on activity would be considered by the Board at its next meeting on 10th June and the Board agreed to meet sooner if required.
