HBLB Appoints Finance Director
Craig Pemberton has been appointed as the Horserace Betting Levy Board’s Finance Director, taking up the role on 1st July.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, he will focus on developing the Board’s financial strategy and will plan, organise and direct the Board’s financial operations. He will also be the business partner to the Chief Executive and, aside from his financial management responsibilities, will play a key part in the ongoing development of the organisation as a whole working directly with key stakeholders.
Craig has a combination of private, public and not for profit sector experience having spent more than 20 years at BT before moving into the public sector in 2005. Since then, he has held senior financial appointments for the Department for Constitutional Affairs, HMRC, the Valuation Office Agency and, most recently, the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) where he was Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Services Director.
