Infectious Disease Outbreak Support

In the event of a localised infectious disease outbreak, the Infectious Disease Central Fund may be used to assist with the expenses associated with disease testing. This is to encourage participant testing which helps to contain outbreaks and limits the economic implications on the Thoroughbred industry.

The protocol has been endorsed by the HBLB, British Horseracing Authority, National Trainers Federation, Racehorse Owners Association and Thoroughbred Breeders Association.
