The Government has confirmed that the Horserace Betting Levy Regulations 2017 will come into force on 25th April 2017.
The 56th Levy Scheme period will therefore be 1st April 2017 to 24th April 2017 inclusive, with the first period of assessment under the Regulations running from 25th April 2017 to 31st March 2018 inclusive.
Further communication about 56th Levy Scheme assessment and the requirements pursuant to the reformed Levy legislation will be issued to bookmakers shortly by the Horserace Betting Levy Board.
